Class Rules
Be Respectful--follow directions, respect personal space, keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself, be polite to others
Be Responsible--listen to the teachers, dress appropriately for the weather, keep hallways, buses, tables, and bathrooms clean
Be Safe/a Good Citizen--use equipment and facilities properly, stay with class, ask permission to leave room, walk quietly
Students are expected to follow these rules throughout their school day whether they are in the gym, classroom, cafeteria, or playground. Students can earn orange Tiger cards for doing what is expected of them. If they show behavior that is above and beyond what is expected they can earn Golden Paw awards. These cards go into a bi-weekly drawing for special recognition and prizes. If students do not follow the expected rules then they can earn pink slips. These notes are sent home to be signed by a parent.
Classroom rewards may vary but will include the above rewards as well as stickers, free time, parties, etc. Each day students are given two tickets. If students do not follow the rules, tickets will be taken away. Whatever tickets a student has at the end of the day are put into a drawing. One name is drawn at the end of each day and the winner gets to choose a prize from the prize box.
